Our storyRongoā Māori is traditional Māori healing, a taonga woven into the whenua and handed down through generations. Te Kāhui Rongoā is the national entity established to protect, nurture, and uphold the mana of rongoā Māori across Aotearoa.
Our role is to create pathways, not control them. Te Kāhui Rongoā is the enabler. We support regional rongoā communities to lead their own healing practices, keeping decisions where they belong. The Trust assists, the rohe guides.

Provides national advocacy, funding management, platform infrastructure, and statutory representation.
Ngā Kaitiaki o ngā Rohe (Trustees)
Kaitiaki represent their specific rohe, approving registrations, maintaining tikanga, and supporting local practitioners.
Regional collectives operating autonomously to nurture local practitioners, wānanga, and whare rongoā.
Individual practitioners, whānau members, and accredited organisations registered in their respective rohe.
